No to leaded gas, yes to race gas that's mtbe / oxygenated a good bit (109 octane, Sunoco GT PLUS)
the electrodes didn't seem melted. they looked liek they had debris on them to begin with, and then sort of got crapinated from that. they are two years old, and the same plugs that were on 500hp engine afterall (lol).
I will have to check them again.
I am thinking about indexing the plugs this time around, it will possibly help with leanburn mode. which way should they face? towards exhaust valve ?

what are the good plugs to run these days? still iridiums? platinums? regular old copper?
i'm not spending more than $15 a plug.

17:1 cruising is a bit lean in my book. why do you choose to run it so lean? mid 15's is about all I would call acceptable.

it doesn't hesitate, and gets 32 miles per gallon.

I purchased a 24-273 which is a 35 psi electric valve bypass kit, along with the check valve. I don't know it being a previous setup, i gave them part numbers and credit card numbers, they gave me what i asked for hehe. I'm going to do something like this: apologies for ghetto paper drawing.

Dunno if this is more suitable than a bikirom, but probably worth a look. Has all the functionality of PFC, tuned through consult port. Quite cheap as well. http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/realtime.shtml
