i can totally see the shit out of Unseen Media's watermark.
Is that a good or bad thing?
This past memorial weekend I went out to Shawano, WI to do a bit of drifting at the No Star Bash. This was my second time going there, this time around I went through the Michigan U.P. instead of driving through Chicago. I've lived in Michigan for quite a while and never drove through there during a nice summer day. It's insanely beautiful up there. Not much up there, and that's exactly the point. I have no pictures of the trip because I wasn't stopping anywhere. If you haven't driven U.S. 2, do it before you die.
I made it to the track on Friday night to hang out and bullshit with whomever else was there. Stuntman was the first person I saw there, then Keith, then more and more. Sometime by 2 am Leigh Roto and the Breaking dudes from Fort Wayne show up. They claimed a lifted stage as camp grounds and built Castle de' Breaking. Leigh was kind enough to offer me a hotel room in his tent, so it got all hot and bothersome in there.
Saturday rolled in drifting and more familiar faces. After a few runs figuring out air leaks, I blop on a GOPro and go out. I managed to drive for a few laps before rain hit and closed the track for the day. (The run where the Maita spins infront of me in the last drifting of day 1) Since the weather crapped on us, and everyone was planning on sleeping at the track anyways, the environment became a perfect place to breed new found relationships with other people that love the same thing. Matt Petty would be crying about how this point IS the sole reason drifting is awesome. It's true, I miss the fuck out of you guys already.

Day 2 happened and I shattered my second clutch in 4 events. Super sad panda. However, I feel great about the runs I did get on US Air and feel confident enough to be a solid competitor at MDU RD. 2. Just gotta get a new clutch.
