large injectors wouldn't cause any fuel pressure issues because the.. wait for it.. SAME AMOUNT OF FUEL IS USED TO CREATE FIRE.
a car making 200hp uses X amount of fuel.
a small injector would need a duty cycle of Y to accommodate that need.
a larger injector would need a duty cycle of Z to accommodate that need.
Z < Y ... but X is still the same amount.
a regulator does just that. it REGULATES. it holds fuel in the rail until a desired (or pre-set) pressure is reached and lets enough pass back in order to maintain this pressure. YES. oem regulator is fine to a certain degree. are you making 800+squirrels? then don't fucking worry about your god damned FPR.

yea, but a car making 200 squirrels and a car making 400 squirrels don't use the same X. So your not using the same amount of fuel. If I was upgrading injectors to stay at the same squirrels level, then FPR wouldn't even be questioned. you can change squirrels with out changing fpr. its really simple. I think your intelligence is your main factor on hindering your build. Ive noticed smart doods have issues with over thinking... also LOL @ matt lately.  nga is tooo funny. I got it now. Ive always stayed away from fpr's that are adjustable... if you have a hater they can adjust n blow your shit up. thx for pic. and make offer on bee r , its in my buddies car atm. Id get some bigger inj and a rom tune if possible. then fine tune if need with safc I love rom tunes. ill never get a haltech/ aem etc. if I get a free haltech Id sell it. If you look at data logs of aftermarket vs. OEM WRT pressure over a range of positive and negative pressure, OEM tend to have much more consistent (well damped) and linear rates of pressure increase vs. aftermarket setups. The only decent aftermarket setups that i've personally seen logs for are the SARD setups - probably because SARD is an OEM parts manufacturer. |

The only rom tune out there that I know of is Mines. They have a tune for stock 1J, and I emailed them asking if they could tune my setup but they "have no data for upgraded turbines"
