that lip is Hamman. CF replicas are like $280 (i know it's an old post) here's my before pictures as the car sits @ the body shop. Got rear ended on the way to work by an 07 camry hybrid. Because i'm a jew, I plan on coming out ahead after all is said and done. This is in the mail: I'm well aware I need coilovers and wheels, those are next. bilstein PSS9s and 19x8.5/10 BBS LM knockoffs. Somthing like this is the end goal: still debating side skirts....right now I don't like them much, at all, and it seems these are the only "decent" ones available:

coilovers? seems to kind of defeat the purpose. maybe just a really nice spring/shock combo? sounds old man style, but... dunno.

Most the European coilovers don't ride like shit like the Japanese ones.

Everything i've read about the PSS9s on M5s and 540s claim to provide a really nice, near-stock ride quality and they're supposedly "real" adjustable dampers. The reviews i tend to believe are from 40-year-old men with bad backs, families, and enough money to buy a daily if their M5 wasn't comfortable enough. From what i've seen, they somewhat do what the little turny knobs are supposed to do...giving me adjustability. I do plan on doing a couple lapping days in the boat.

The KW V3s use a progressive spring, though. Not sure I'm down with that.

I dunno, it kinda makes sense, if you are actually using properly designed springs. I still don't want to do it, too much variable for me. But he makes a compelling argument, until I get bored and stop listening.
