Yes. Once everything is installed and ride height set, the adjuster at the bottom should just clear the CV boot.

We are rapidly running out of time.
The team banded together over the weekend to kick this car's fucking asshole in. Behold.

Nice and cozy.

Rear mounts use 2x3 box tubing and mount under what's left of the frame rails.

Front mounts over the floor and through frame rails.

We'll be walling this off of course. I'm even thinking of adding some armor plate behind the seat in case of SHOrapnel. Cage is also 90% done with some floor repair and Nascar bars left.

Nice wheel hub I made with a Stance, garnished with a stripped collar.

So what's left?
-finish cage and floor repairs
-build firewall
-wire it in
-figure out a solution to our fuel cell/tank crisis (we don't have one, and don't have a lot of room)
-Fab up control cables for everything
-weld in our 2nd complete front subframe/steering/brakes we picked up out of a 98 SABLE.
-run brake lines
-tires, maybe MA-Z1's
-10 more things I'm forgetting
-oh yeah, and build new strut towers

go to the junk yard and get the biggest damn gas tank you can find (30+ gallons) and shove it under the hood of that car.

also make sure you are documenting your build on paper to show the guys in tech...  any receipts, list of items with costs...  this is what will screw you.  as long as you can prove it to be $500 then you are golden.

(i didnt read every post so I dont know if you mentioned that you are doing this or not)

Yeah, and then shove another one in there too. and NEVER get out of the car, do 3 drivers and 5hr stints. Do this and win. Also don't show up in a big NOS rig with fancy race suits.
