Yes, the Yamahammer is a good engine. It just doesn't like being in the back of a Geo. Needs less Chinese plug wires and air in the cooling system.

I would prefer a 3800SC.
The problem is there isn't a proper 5spd, nor a whole donor car with one attached to it. It's also a bit heavier IIRC, but it may trade off in the reliability dept.

This car is like a kart on 4loko.  If you don't take care of all the shifting and braking before even thinking about entering a corner, expect one hell of a handful.

This was my first time seeing LeMons, driving LeMons, driving Gingerman and driving this car.  I wasn't sure what to expect from the driving/drivers - however I was very pleasantly surprised at the skill the vast majority of the field had.  The race was very clean and I never saw or had an instance of someone not watching their mirrors or causing problems.  It was competitive yet clean for the entire weekend.

Looking forward to Autobahn.

Great write-up, sounds so bad ass. Wish you guys would come down to an event in Texas/Louisiana. I usually go with the guys that run the orange EF civic. Everybody claims they cheat, its awesome.
