Oh by the way, anybody know that with the duramaxs, did the LB7s come with the badges that just said  DURAMAX DIESEL above 2500HD, or the allison logo/duramax ones?

Not all Duramax's had the Allison, so if that option was purchased it has the badge.

Dave how is the truck treating you?

I sorta realised I can't warrant a duramax at the moment. Planning for a JZX90/100 for a daily driver in 4 months, then a boat for next summer, so thats $30k there, don't feel like paying $20k for a truck that will be used just to tow a boat 40miles every 2nd weekend.

Baby got a half ton chevvy and seems to be doing well with it.

2500hd gasser dude, seriously do it. 1/2 ton gets hossed around by even my 1 car trailer too easily. dealt with a 1500 and 2 f150s and couldn't STAND it. you should get 3/4ton gas or diesel.

my old truck only had side moldings and rear badge removed but the door badges is what it came with. new truck was messed with by new owner so its a mystery as to what it should've had. i haven't heard of a duramax not being paired with an allison though? however i cannot speak for the gas motors

True I think all dureezy's had the allison as well as the 8.1L had it as an option. I don't know what my 6.0 has. Noone likes the gasserzz.

The 2nd best day in a man's life is when he buys a boat.

His 1dt best day is when he sells it.
