I figured there might be some people that want to go do this with us. The date will probably be in the middle of the summer somewhere and isn't set yet.

http://www.fabricatedmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=2455.0I have been playing with my jeep the last few weeks, and I'm going to go have fun with it soon. I am getting it ready for a Colorado trip and figured some of you guys out there might either have cool jeeps or something, or have friends with them.
1. This won't necessarily be a hardcore offroad deal for every trail, but 4WD, larger than stock tires and one locker will be required. Lockers are basically like more hardcore LSD, think welded.
2. We will probably spend a week up in Colorado bouncing around different trails and cities, camping or finding peoples houses to crash at. We will not be trailering everything everywhere, but we will probably take at least one trailer where ever we go.
3. This is more about just exploring the outdoors and going up to cool old mining towns and stuff, which is basically what a lot of the old 4 wheeling trails in the area are. The trails will be challenging at points and damage to the vehicles will most likely happen. But again, you can take easier lines on most trails and you don't have to heavily damage your vehicle, but some dings and stuff can be expected. Colorado is beautiful and fun, and it is very different to be out doors there than in Texas. It is NICE in the summer!
4. As a side note, 4 wheeling has been around a lot longer than drifting obviously around here. You can buy a decent little toyota rig or something like that for 4k and go play with it, and then sell it at basically no loss later down the line. It is a great way to go have fun for not very much money besides fuel to get places, as long as you don't get to heavily into the modifying of vehicles. Then it turns into a money shit storm lol.
http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=963375 Little cool rigs like that can be found for 2500 dollars, and street worthy stuff can be found for not too terribly much more.

Who else wants to go?
