Long story short I have a 20ft enclosed no that I've been towing with my 05 f150. It does it but its not happy bout it and I want to get rid of it before it takes a shit on me. Found a 04 crew cab duramax. Loaded with 135k on it. I can get into for a solid deal through my dads work. My questions....

1. Its lifted..not a huge fan of lifted trucks but it looks rad and I wanna bro out. Anything I need to look out for with the lift?

2. 135k...other than checking to see if the injectors have been replaced is there any other major issues I should look out for. I feel like thses things are solid for much longr than a gasser.

I'm going to go look at it tonight or in the morning. So I will know more then. From what I can tell only mods are the lift and tires.

post some pics up, injectors changed or not the LB7s will keep going out due to the cup design in the head unfortunate Sad

lift will kill susp. components left and right but look pretty rad

06-07.
For 06's, it will either have the lly or lbz; both are the same engines mechanically, just the lly is rated at 310 and the lbz is at 360. If you got a lly you can apparently just update the ECU to get the same power as the LBZ.
Can tell by the vin, if the 8th digit is a 2 it's a lly, if its a D it's lbz. If it's a 07, as long as its the OBS (old body style, same headlights as the one you posted), it will have the lbz.

plans are to finish up making it not a grandpa truck. torsion lift and little bigger tires, window tint and eventually exhaust. then leave it!
