SO, I have a 1995 300zxtt and I put a southbend stage 3++ in it (full face, rated to something stupid like 520 lbs/ft)  and of course, the clutch fork pivot snaps with less than 200mi on the new clutch.  Yeah, I should have changed it "while I was in there" , but didn't.  Now, I also have a 1991 300ZXTT parts car (rod knock) with a fully rebuilt and documented trans.  The one in my car was shot anyway, over 175K on it, ground in every gear yadda yadda yadda

According to car-part.com, the 90 and 91 are the same, 92 to 95 are the same and 96 has it's own special listing.  What the fuck is going on here? I though they were all interchangeable?  Diff ratios?  Sensors?  shifter style or something?  any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

AH, fuck it.  According to courtesy nissan's website, the 90 to 95 are all the same and 96 is different.   This bitch is coming out tomorrow.

So, redline MT90 and NOT shockproof, right?

I have had the best luck now using the OEM nissan MTL. works excellent in 350z transmissions, fs5w71c's, and i'm sure, by relation, the rs5r30a's that the z32 uses

It's probably a gearing ratio change, could be a couple extra/ missing sensors.

The one with the busted fork has gota come out, just go for it.

Aslong as the motors are the same, should bolt up

Yeah no shockproof in trans from what I've been told
