fixing up/hacking out bullshit wires out of my engine bay harness.
it's all fucked up, but I am almost done fixing shit. pass side "fender harness" i guess you could call it, the part that you tuck so you don't rub through like this asshole that had the car before me did.....there's a big fat grey wire, inside are two wires black and white I think (it's dark out)....
anyone know what they are and if I need them for sweet race car action? I'd rather just cut this whole wire out and not fix it.

I can't think of anything important that runs down the pass side harness. The thick grey insulation with black and white wires inside is shielded wire, which Nissan used for stuff like cam angle sensor and MAF. I thought only the wiper stuff ran through the pass side firewall, and that runs straight up to the wipers?
This is USDM LHD right?

Yeah, that harness was out of an auto car. Its got a 5spd ecu and stuff in it now.
I cut all the wiper shit out already. This asshole I got the parts car from had that shit wired back together with computer ribbon wire.

It kinda runs haha. I just wired that shit back up, who knows what it does. It idles like crap, and when I tap the gas slightly, it revs wayyy high. So weird. Still needs a bunch of shit though. |

I was real antsy and took this thing out the other day....for a stock KA with a header and an intake, it fucking rips. Did a few rolling burnouts, decided to take it on a main road with fake plates, hit third HARD balls out sideways, hood pins broke, smashed windshield and covered me in glass....neighbor lady screams that she's calling the cops, I rodeo the door and kick the hood down, get the fuck out of there....didn't realize till I got home that I had no shirt on and was covered in black shit.

thats the second time that cars windsheild has been smashed by the hood. the first time i was wasted ripping home from a house party at 4am around the block from my house. bunch of people at the party wanted to see my jdm swap and i forgot to close the hood all the way. shit was so violent. that hood like turned itself inside out it was so fucked. then we made it into a sick bmx ramp over a kiddy pool.
